The Union of Employers of ICT

The Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies was established in 2015 on the initiative of a number of leading organizations in the field, aiming to represent and protect the rights of employers of the sphere. Many large Armenian companies have become member of the union.

The union pays great attention to professional education, both at schools and universities, taking into account the lack of ICT specialists in the labor market and the need to adapt present education to the requirements of the employers.

Taking into account all these issues, the Union of Employers of ICT cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, with great Armenian universities and schools having professional orientation, and implements joint programs aimed at improving the sector. The Union of Employers of ICT cooperates also with organizations operating in ICT and related fields, the Government of the Republic of Armenia, with international organizations and companies; state, public and related sectors of foreign countries.
